December Student Athletes of the Month

Tina Childress, 9 (Swimming)

After the Tigers’ first two swim meets, freshman Tina Childress has shown her versatility as a swimmer. She is currently the ladies high point leader and she maintains a 3.5 GPA.

Jacoby Wolfe, 12 (Basketball)

Through 5 games, he's averaging 15.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game.  He is shooting 62.5% from 2pt FG and 85% from the free throw line.  Jacoby was unanimously selected by his teammates and coaches to be team captain.  Even after a big home win the next night, he stayed behind to help clean the gym.  Jacoby is constantly thinking of others before himself.  He is unselfish on the court, and a respected leader off the court.  Jacoby is one of the most coachable players I have ever worked with.
