Mrs. Carsley's Summer Message

As we got closer to the end of school, it seemed the year only went faster.  The end of the year festivities went very smooth!.  It was great to be able to have students meet their teacher and see who is going to be in their classroom for the 2013-2014 school year.

Our very own Mr. Rick Harris, PE teacher here at Dundee and Ewing Young, received the Crystal Apple Elementary Teacher of the Year Award.  Mr. Harris  is known for his ability to draw out the very best in the students he teaches. In addition to teaching health and PE skills, he is consciously developing students who are critical thinkers, leaders, problem solvers and team players.  Congratulations to Mr. Harris!!!

While enjoying all that summer holds for you and your family, please keep children reading, and practicing their math facts.  We look forward to seeing all of our returning students in September and welcome any students who will be coming to us.  Best of luck to our fifth grade students who will be attending either Chehalem Valley Middle School or Mountainview Middle School in the fall.
