Elementary Curriculum Guides
All elementary schools in the Newberg School district provide instruction for students in grades K-5. Developing reading, writing and mathematic skills is the core of the elementary curriculum. Computer literacy, science, social studies, health, physical education, art and music are also vital parts of the elementary program.
Each elementary school is served by a library/media assistant, music teacher, physical education teacher, speech clinician, counselor, school psychologist, gifted education specialist and English language learning support. Additional academic support personnel may vary from school to school.
Activities and opportunities vary by school and may include choir, clubs, outdoor school, field trips and student government.
