The Lion Walk is now ten days away. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from the Lion Walk support additional educational opportunities for your children. This includes every field trip, outdoor school, STEM advanced learning materials including a new 3d printer being installed soon, Battle of the Books, and many other great supplemental activities that district funding no longer covers. For those of you wondering, STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Our school is leading the way in creating opportunities in these fields for our children.
We are using two methods of fundraising this year. The easiest method is online. Sign up for your personalized account at www.pledgestar.com/mabelrush and you can quickly and easily send out emails asking for donations. You will also get a special link to share via Facebook or other social media platforms. The other method is the printed pledge form that came as part of the packet we distributed about ten days ago. We encourage you to use both methods.
