To all Mabel Rush Families,
On behalf of the Parent Group of Mabel Rush, we would like to extend our appreciation to those of you who came to our Spring BBQ/Auction last Friday evening. Even though the weather was not ideal, the gym was packed with families hoping to go home with the highest bid on that special item(s).
We would like to say thanks to Kim Lanier and her auction committee, Mabel Rush teachers and students, classroom moms,
Mrs. McKennon, the talented young people who sang and danced, Jem 100, Cub Scout Pack 196, Mrs. Stueckle, John Seal, the custodians and all the volunteers who set up, cleaned up, worked in between or helped in any way. Without your time, energy and commitment, we couldn't have pulled it off. Thanks to those businesses and individuals who donated an item, service or money to the auction.
So how did we do???? We are excited to inform you that this was our most profitable auction ever!!! You helped us raise approximately $12,000 for the students of Mabel Rush. Our sincere THANKS goes out to you, your family, friends and neighbors who came out to support them.
