There is one really important meeting from the perspective of the staff and it is this week! We have Curriculum Night for parents of 1st-3rd grade students TUESDAY and 4th/5th grade students on THURSDAY. It is the only time that we ask parents to come to the classroom while the teacher presents the curriculum for the year, homework routines, fieldtrip info, volunteering, how to communicate, and grading. This is huge to us.
Please plan to attend. We would not want the lack of childcare to keep parents home so we have a video in the Music Room for school-age children. The program runs 7:00-7:30 and then from 7:30 to 8:00 please visit with other teachers your child might have and specialists. You can also return or purchase Entertainment Books and talk with Parent Group leaders.
