Wow, what an incredible meal the staff enjoyed on behalf of the Mabel Rush parents. THANK YOU for treating the staff to dinner during evening conferences last week and there was enough left over for them to enjoy lunch the following day. It feels great to be spoiled by the parents. A huge thank you to Elisha Wright for her amazing organizational skills.
The Student Council is sponsoring their first "Nerd Day" this Friday. They will be around to classes during the week to tell the students about it, but I thought I'd better sneak in a quick "warning" to parents because it's not as easy as some. Pajama Day would have been easy!
The Civil War Canned Food Drive, Book Drive, and dress-up day occurs next week (Nov. 21-23). Students are invited to bring non-perishables to vote for their favorite team by placing them on the "duck" side of the lobby or the "beaver" side. We will also be collecting gently used books as a way to vote! For the undecided they can place their food/books in the middle! Students are invited to wear the colors of their chosen team to school on Wednesday the 23rd. The books will be donated to Reading For All and the food will be donated to FISH.
