Mabel Rush has enjoyed an award-winning Chess Club for years. Students would practice every Wednesday morning and our team would competed in the regional tournament every Spring -- we've even gone to State several times! We don't have a Chess Club this year due to the lack of a volunteer to supervise the group. You don't have to be knowledgeable in the game to supervise this activity -- just watch as the children enjoy it!! We have all the equipment and interested students.
