Mabel Rush Parent Update:
January is going by at a fast and furious pace. Students are completing their winter benchmark assessments which will show their progress in reading, writing, and math this first semester. Teachers will use that data to plan for second semester learning activities. Our 5th Grade Teachers have hosted two Outdoor School Parent Meetings and are putting all the pieces together for an outstanding Outdoor School program in May.
Our Family Fitness Night for grades 3-5 was a great success and later this month, Mr. Wright and our PIE group will host another Fitness Night for families with children in grades K-2. Come ready to play and have fun!
Kindergarten and first grade students will put their creativity and ingenuity to work later this month in new Art Literacy projects in our Art Literacy program. If you get the chance, stop by our school library to view their last project. What an incredible piece of artwork!
