Dear Parents,
We'll be rolling out information to you next week about a new on-line program Mabel Rush School is using for conference scheduling. The website is Schoolappointments.com. Here's why we're giving this a try this year.
We've heard great things about how this program made it easier for parents to sign up for conference times especially when they have more than one child to schedule for. In addition, parents will have the ability within the program to make changes to their conference times. We've also heard that this is less time consuming for teachers which means they have that time back for planning instruction.
Next week we'll send out more specific information on how to set up a parent account so parents can begin signing up. Parents will need to set up their account, and then they can view each of their children's teachers' available conference times. Please watch for this very important information!
Also please be assured that we know not everyone can utilize on-line scheduling easily. We are still available to help parents schedule their conferences by phone or by email or in person. We know sometimes that making changes to methods can seem problematic at first, please be patient with us as we learn this new system. We endeavor to make this process more accessible to parents and less time consuming for staff.
