Confident Readers

Dear Parents,

As the holidays approach, I wanted to encourage you to keep reading with your children. Research shows that children who read at home generally have better reading skills than children who don't. This short link "How to Raise a Confident Reader"gives some interesting information about this topic. Reading can even help kids calm down and get ready to sleep. At this time of the year, it is especially important to keep up the reading routine even during the 2 weeks off from school.
