Summer Meal Program

Breakfast and lunch is available for all children ages one through 18 at no cost through the summer at the Edwards Cafeteria on East 6th. The summer food service program is part of the National School Lunch Program funded by the USDA. The local meal program is administered by the state and the school district.

Breakfast is served from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m at Edwards Elementary. Sack lunches are available at the Skate/BMX Park at the Ewing Young Historical Park at 12:15 p.m, at St. Michaels Episcopal Church on Everest Road at 11 a.m., and at the Pool Park at 11:30 a.m.  Food is available at all locations Monday through Friday.  The meals are free and no application is necessary.

The Summer Meal Program runs from June 17 - August 23.  There will be no meals served on July 4th.
