Band students at CV are invited and encouraged to attend the annual Play-A-Thon tonight Friday, Sept. 26. Students will stay after school and participate in small and large group rehearsals, games in the gym, spaghetti dinner, listen to high school jazz and concert bands and then perform for parents with ice cream sundaes after the concert.
This is also a major fundraiser for the band program at CV. Students are encouraged to get pledges from family, relatives, and close friends for the Play-A-Thon. Most students average about $35 of pledges. Our goal for 160 students is $5250.
