Late Start on Wednesday
All Newberg Public Schools start one-hour late on Wednesday to provide common time for staff training and collaboration necessary to improve student achievement. This allows schools to provide ongoing staff development time with minimal impact to student instruction time.
Schools provide supervision and educational activities for students at the normal start time on Wednesday at no additional cost to parents.
School bus schedules are adjusted to the late start. Elementary students may ride the secondary bus to school on late start mornings.
