5th Grade Parent Night
We had an outstanding turn out for 5th parent night last night. The bleachers were full and the parents and students asked a lot of good questions. It was great seeing the potential new faces in next year's class. This is the first of many meetings that we will have from now until the beginning of the next school year.
Blue on 2 Day-Anti-bullying
Next Tuesday, April 5th is Blue on 2 day in support of anti-bullying. Please remind your student(s) to wear blue. We will be showing an anti-bullying video during 1st period.
End of the 3rd Nine Weeks
Next Thursday marks the end of the 3rd nine week period. Grades as always will be visible on Ed-line. If you have questions concerning your student's grades I encourage you to make contact with the teachers. Grades will start over for the beginning of the 4th nine week period. At the end of the year, teachers will average the 3rd and 4th quarter grades to calculate the final semester grade.
Parent Conferences
Parent conferences next Thursday, April 7th, will be from 4-7 PM in the classrooms. Letters were mailed out specifically inviting parents of students with one or more F's.
Be Safe Be Respectful Be Responsible
Next Thursday we will be having an Activity Day for students that have zero behavior referrals, less than four tardies and no missing work. We will also be having a Spring Dance on April 8th from 7-9 PM in the CV gym.
Cranes for Japan
If you are in the building please feel to check out the window in front of our Japanese Garden. The students have been making paper cranes to show support for our friends in Japan. Our CORE classes are also trying to raise money to support the relief efforts.
