Happy Friday to All of You! It is hard to believe that this is the last Friday of the school year.
Talent Show
Thank you to Kelly Ceder and Leadership class for organizing and emceeing the talent show. This is our first talent show in awhile and the kids did a great job. Everything from singing, dancing, ballet, rapping and a rubik's cube. Mr. Z ended the event with some singing of his own. Nice job everyone!
8th Grade Celebration Ceremony
As we approach the end of this school year, I would like to invite all 8th grade parents to our 8th grade celebration on Wednesday,
June 15th beginning at 8:30 AM. At this time we will give certificates of completion out to the 8th grade class. We will also recognize individual accomplishments with the awarding of Presidential Excellence and Achievement Awards, Citizenship Awards and Principal Awards. After we celebrate, 8th grade students and families are welcome to visit and reflect with each other over cookies and refreshments in the gym. We expect the celebration to be completed between 9:30-10:00 AM. Students will be dismissed to their parents after the ceremony.
Last Day of School
Next Wednesday is NOT a late start. School will begin as usual at 7:45 AM with dismissal at 11:10 AM.
Camp Yamhill and Activity Day
On Tuesday, 6th, 7th and 8th graders that meet the eligibility criteria of no missing work, less than 4 tardies, and zero behavior referrals will be attending Camp Yamhill (8th graders) or participating in Activity Day (6th, 7th graders). The students worked very hard this school year! The cost of Camp Yamhill is $5.00 and can be paid in the office. 8th grade students wanting to attending Camp Yamhill must also turn in a permission slip to the office.
