Today was National Talk Like a Pirate Day and our principals really took that to heart, donning Pirate garb for our annual Magazine Drive Assembly. During the Assembly, several teachers took the Ice Bucket Challenge in reward for raising the most money for the charities of their choice.
Winners were:
1st place - Mrs. Holstrom and Mr. Lindell who raised $75.52 for Special Olympics
2nd place - Ms. Ceder and Mrs. Worthington who raised $69.15 for Leukemia
3rd place - Mrs. Oathes, Ms. Clayton and Ms. Silva who raised $57.96 for Children's Cancer Research
Fun was had by all this afternoon!
