Schools Benefit from Church Serve Day
Newberg Christian Church held their annual Serve Day this past Sunday. They spread bark chips provided by the School District in the playgrounds of Joan Austin, Crater, and Ewing Young. The church provided the chips at Crater.
At Edwards, bushes were trimmed and pruned, the blacktop under the cover was painted and planter boxes were built for Chehalem Valley Middle school. These boxes are popular, they've been made in the past for the other schools and they keep asking for more.
We are so lucky to be the recipients of such a great project here in our community!
