Newberg Christian Church is hosting a Suicide Awareness Seminar January 29th at 3:00 p.m.
Michelle Shelton, who is a certified suicide prevention instructor, an Assistant Professor at George Fox and holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, will teach this one hour seminar and cover basic awareness of suicide, those at the highest risk, and provide resources for suicide prevention and referral.
This free seminar is geared for those middle school age and older. Child care is provided. Newberg Christian Church is located at the corner of Villa Rd. & Mountainview Drive in Newberg.
