Winter/Spring 2014
NHS principals and counselors will visit both middle schools Friday, February 28th to begin the forecasting process for the 2014-15 academic year. Students received their small school welcome letter this week. Each student will receive a course guide which is full of information about graduation requirements, academic possibilities and course descriptions. Students must return their sheets to their middle school counseling office by Friday, March 7 with a parent’s signature. If students/parents have questions about the process, they are encouraged to contact their new small school office.
Last week in February and first week in March CVMS Counselors are visiting fifth grade classrooms to talk about the middle school transition and to explain elective choices.
Mid March Elective choice forms will be handed out.
Mid April CVMS Asst Principal will visit 5th grade classrooms to explain the CVMS behavior incentive program.
June 3rd 5th Graders tour CVMS and get locker partner forms.
August 21 6th Grade Orientation – 9AM to 12PM at CVMS. Come for tours, group building activities, and a bbq lunch.
Sept. 2 First day of school at CVMS – 7:40AM to 2:45 PM
