February 7 Weekly Menu and a few reminders

 Welcome to February!

This week you will find the following items attached:
*JA Weekly Menu
*JA PSO Meeting agenda.  The February PSO meeting is February 15 at 7 pm and the meeting link is on the agenda.  We hope you join the meeting!  As you will see from the agenda, there are volunteer opportunities coming up.

Reminders:
*The Be My Valentine Contest entries are due on February 9.  Students can bring their entries to the office or give to their teacher.  We have a lot of very creative students!

*There is no school on February 21 in observance of Presidents Day.

February PAWS
This month we are celebrating the character trait of “Kindness.”  Students who are given pink PAWS can choose to place pink PAWS in the raffle envelopes, which are located across from the office, for a chance to win a book.  The drawing takes place at the end of the month.  During the week of Valentines Day (2/14-18), students will have the opportunity to cash in 5 pink PAWS for a piece of candy which will be located in the office.

Esta semana los siguientes están adjuntos:

*JA PSO reunión agenda. La reunión de la PSO es el 15 febrero a las 7pm y el enlace está en la agenda. ¡Esperamos que pueda juntar la reunión! Como se puede ver en la agenda, hay oportunidades para voluntarios.

Recordatorios:
*Las entradas en el Desafío de Sé me Valentín vencen el 9 de febrero. Los estudiantes pueden llevar sus entradas a la oficina o a su maestra. ¡Tenemos muchos estudiantes creativos!

*No hay escuela el día 21 febrero para observar el Día de Presidentes.

PAWS en febrero
Este mes celebramos el rasgo de carácter de amabilidad. Los estudiantes que reciben PAWS rosas pueden elegir poner su PAWS en los sobres de la rifa, ubicados cerca a la oficina, para la posibilidad de ganar un libro. La rifa ocurre al fin del mes. Durante la semana del Día de San Valentín (2/14-18), los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de intercambiar 5 PAWS rosas para un dulce de la oficina.
