Girls in STEM Event

Join us for an inspirational event that will inspire young women to pursue a future in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)!

Newberg Public Schools and the Chehalem Cultural Center invite you to a free public screening of Big Dream, a film featuring seven young women and their journeys into science, math, computing, and engineering.  Each young woman has overcome barriers and obstacles to pursue a passion.  After the screening a panel of female students and professionals will share their experiences in breaking barriers and overcoming challenges to follow their passion in STEM fields.  You'll also have a chance to connect with opportunities in the Newberg community.
