How fast are you going in that school zone?

Drivers on Mountainview Drive will soon be able to better gauge their speed as they travel past Joan Austin Elementary School when school is in session. The City of Newberg is installing a radar feedback sign near the school.
“The flashing light on the top of the pole is not yet programmed, so we have intentionally installed the School Zone, 20 MPH, 7AM to 5PM school zone speed signs,” says Russ Thomas, Public Works Superintendent. Thomas says that by the end of the week programming will be complete at the end of the week.
