JA Spirit Day and Staff Appreciation

Today was Anything but a backpack Spirit Day and we have very creative students!  We saw…pillowcase, shopping bag, hanging file holder, planter pot, suitcases, lantern, cat carrier and much more.

Next week (5/2-6) is JA Staff Appreciation Week.  We have the following events happening that we would like your student/you to participate in:
*5/3 (Tuesday) - Wear your teacher’s favorite color (see the attached)
*5/4 (Wednesday)- Dress like your teacher
*5/5 (Thursday) - Write your teacher a note of thanks
*An “All about my teacher” sheet was sent home in Wednesday folders with a requested return date of 4/29.  Thank you to those who returned the form.  If your student would like to complete the form and didn’t get a chance to turn it in, please  have them return it by Tuesday, May 3.

We are planning another STEAM Shuffle in May and need your help.  Do you have old sidewalk chalk you no longer need/want?  If so, please drop it by the office (or have your student drop it in the office) by May 20th.  Thank you!

¡Hoy fue el Dia de Espíritu de Cualquier Cosa otra que una mochila y tenemos muchos estudiantes muy creativos! Vimos… una funda de almohada, bolsa de papel, archivador, maceta, maletas, linterna, transportín de gato y más.

La semana siguiente es la Semana de Agradecer al Personal de JA. Tenemos los siguientes eventos en que queríamos que participe Ud/su estudiante:
*5/3 (martes) - Llevar el color favorito de tu maestra (mira el adjunto)
*5/4 (miércoles)- Vestirse como tu maestra
*5/5 (jueves) - Escribir a tu maestra una nota de gracias
*Una hoja “Todo sobre mi maestra” llegó en la carpeta amarilla con una fecha solicitada de devolver el 29 de abril. Gracias a los que lo devolvieron. Si a su estudiante le gustaría completar la forma y no lo hizo, favor de devolverla el día martes, 3 de mayo.

Estamos planeando otro Mezcla de STEAM en mayo que necesitamos su ayuda. ¿Tiene tiza de banqueta vieja que no quiere/necesita? Favor de llevarla a la oficina (o mandarla con su estudiante) para el 20 de mayo. ¡Gracias!
