As you may know Governor Brown has lifted the mask mandate as of end of day on 3/11/22.  At Joan Austin Elementary…

*Masks are optional but also acceptable for staff and students
*Some students, staff or families may still wear masks for many reasons such as safety, health reasons, precaution, if they are sick, etc.
*We will continue to practice social distancing of 3 feet during the day and 6 feet at lunch
*Students and staff will continue to wash hands and use hand sanitizer
*We are asking all of our students and staff to be respectful of those who continue to wear a mask

Reminders:
Do you have empty paper towel and/or toilet paper rolls?  We are having another Shuffle Day on April 22 and will be using empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls for our activities.  Please send the empty rolls with your student to drop off at the office or drop them by yourself by April 14.  Thank you in advance!

We have a new way to view the breakfast and lunch menu.  

Click on the link below or go to the Newberg Public School’s web page and click on Parents/Students, click on menus and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Both links allow you to click on the menu item and see nutrient facts, filter items by allergens etc.

Como quizás sepan, la Gobernadora Brown ha quitado el mandato de máscaras a partir del fin del día de 3/11/22. En la Primaria Joan Austin…

¿Puede ayudar?  ¿Tiene algunos tubos vacíos de toallas de papel y papel higiénico? Vamos a tener otro “Dia Mezclado” el día 22 abril y necesitaremos los tubos de toallas de papel y papel higiénico para algunas de las actividades. Si tiene algunos, favor de mandarlos con su estudiante, o dejarlos en la oficina para el 14 abril. ¡Gracias!
