Reminders for week of September 30

A few quick reminders for the week of September 30 at Joan Austin Elementary…

September 30 is Assessment Day with dismissal at 1 pm. School will begin as normal at 8:30 am for all students with a release time of 1:00 pm.  All students will be served lunch prior to dismissal.  Buses will run for those who ride leaving Joan Austin Elementary at 1:00 pm.  If your student goes to CARE after school, CARE will be held at the normal 3:10-6:00 pm.  We will have staff available from 1:00-3:10 for the CARE students.  Teachers will use the rest of the day assessing data from the day.

 October 1 – Picture Day!  Picture order packets were sent home on Wednesday, September 25.

October 4 – Jag Jog!  Please have your student bring their donation envelope to school.  For the jog, have them bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothing and shoes they can run in. 
Class running schedule for October 4:
8:45-9:15 – 1st Grade
9:20-9:50 – 2nd Grade
9:55-10:25 – Kindergarten
10:30-11:10 – 3rd Grade
11:25-12:05 – 4th and 5th Grade

If you are volunteering, please check in at the field on October 4.
 

Unos recordatorios para la semana del 30 de septiembre.

El lunes, 30 septiembre es el Día de Evaluaciones. Clases empezarán como normal a las 8:30 para todos los estudiantes con una salida a la 1:00pm. Todos los estudiantes comerán el almuerzo antes de salir. Los autobuses para los estudiantes que los toman saldrán Joan Austin a la 1:00pm. Si su estudiante va a CARE después de clases, CARE continuará de las 3:10-6:00pm. La escuela proveerá un empleado disponible de la 1:00-3:10 para los estudiantes de CARE. Las maestras usarán el resto del día revisando los datos del día.

1 octubre – ¡Día de la Foto! Se mandaron los paquetes de ordenar el 25 de septiembre.

El 4 de octubre – Jag Jog Manda el sobre con donaciones a la escuela con su estudiante. Deben traer una botella de agua, ropa cómoda, y zapatos atléticos.

Si Ud. es un voluntario, favor de venir directemente a la pista.
