Celebration recognizes students exiting SAIL Transitions Program

Six students will recognized as they age out of the Newberg School District transition program. Support Advocacy for Independence in Life (SAIL) serves students aged 18-21 that experience disability. Students leaving this year are Olivia Acosta, Nick Britell, George Leggett, Braden Marti, Natalie Thomas and Frank Wakefield.

Staff are invited to a celebration of these students at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in the Newberg High School West Commons. Light refreshments will be served following a short program.  

SAIL is also hosting an open house from 1-5 p.m. on June 6th in Building K on the NHS campus.

The SAIL program provides vocational training, independence living skills, social skills, sensory experiences, healthy living and community involvement and awareness. SAIL is located on the Newberg High School campus in Building K.
