Ideas worth Spreading

Fifteen Innovation Teams shared their "ideas worth spreading"  with approximately 150 educators, staff and school board members on Tuesday. Using a Ted Talk format, teams shared their learning from their nearly nine-months of re-imagining teaching for the 21st Century.

Here are some takeaways from audience members:

"It's ok to make mistakes. Learn along with your kids."

"The assistive technology is something I am excited to use with my students." "Spreading the Assistive Technology ideas sooner rather than later with more buildings."

"Everyone needs to hear what CV and MR said: The transition will be filled with trial & error. As principals observe, this needs to be ok. None of us will hit a home run every time. This is overwhelming. We need to be allowed to be vulnerable."

"It is all about the students . .  but it starts with us."
