You Count…Your Steps Count Activity Challenge Week One Recap

Congratulation Newberg School District!!!! What a great first week of the Step/Activity Challenge!

We have had 42 teams sign up and 38 reported on time for this first week.  We will work on getting the info to the correct Team Captains so that everyone gets their numbers posted.  We had a team of 5 walking   587,444 steps which translates into 280 miles.  That is a walk between Newberg and North of Bellingham Washington.

The top three schools for sign up and participation the first week are:

• Top School Joan Austin with 74% of employees
• Second is Antonia Crater with 67%
• And in third is CVMS with 40% participating.

Way to go EVERYONE!!!!  You all count!!

This second week that ends this Sunday is: School with the highest number of steps. Keep walking and exercising and having fun!!!
