Welcome to Ewing Young Elementary School- home of the Pioneers!  At Ewing Young, we continue to strive to create S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) learning experiences, 21st Century skills, knowledge of the world, as well as a strong foundation in the basic skill areas of reading and writing.

We hope the information shared on our website will answer your questions and give you a glimpse into our unique and very special school. We are committed to creating collaborative, creative, innovative, safe and caring responsible learners who demonstrate perseverance in order to reach their full potential. 

Our school's educational program focuses on strong fundamentals in reading, writing, art, and math. These core contents are enhanced by our integrated focus on S.T.E.A.M. Skills are developed and applied to real life problem-solving tasks built upon the 5 C's (critical thinking, communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and citizenship) where our students apply the rigor of S.T.E.A.M. in order to understand and address meaningful issues and engage collaboratively to solve problems. Ewing Young's highly effective staff are committed to providing our students a quality education, preparing them for the 21st Century.

Parents and families are the most critical part of our school success. Parents take an active role in providing an atmosphere that promotes education and quality work habits. There are a variety of ways families can support Ewing Young students from becoming a classroom volunteer to EYST (Ewing Young Support Team) involvement- there are many ways to be involved and make a difference for our kids. 

I am honored to work with devoted parents and educators that are experts in their fields and who love children. There is no other school like Ewing Young- We are truly "Pioneers"!
