Book Fair, Weekly Menu and More!

The end of the calendar year is speeding toward us!  Here are a few things for December:

*Fire Drill – Today (12/3) we took advantage of the sunny weather for our monthly fire drill.

*Book Fair – Yay! an in person Book Fair December 10-16, 2021 (weekdays) from 2:40-6:00 pm.  See the attached flyer for more information.  The Book Fair needs volunteers!  Sign ups are through the Book Fair website https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bookfairs/cptoolkit/homepage.do?method=...

*Giving Tree – There are a few spots remaining on JA’s Giving Tree.  Please have gifts wrapped, labeled and to the JA Office by Friday, December 10 at 3 pm.  Questions?  Contact Marianne Hyatt at 503-554-4556,

*The Breakfast and Lunch Menu for December 6-10 is attached

*Vision Screening results are back and will be sent home in Wednesday Communication Folders (12/8).

*The Newberg Public Schools District Office is having a sock drive through December 13.  If you would like to participate, please see the attached flyer.

December 14 – JA PSO meeting 7:00 pm
December 15 – JA PSO Build Me a Snowman Contest begins
December 20-31 – Winter Break
January 3 – School resumes

¡El fin del calendario ya viene prontito! Aquí están algunas notas para diciembre:

* Simulacro de incendio – hoy (3/12). Gracias al tiempo soleado practicamos nuestro simulacro de incendio mensual.

* Fería de Libros – en persona los días 10-16 diciembre (no incluyen el fin de semana) enter las 2:40-6:00pm. Refiere a la hoja adjunta para más información. ¡El Fería de Libros necesita voluntarios! * El menú del desayuno y almuerzo para los 6-10 diciembre está adjunto

* Los resultados de la prueba de vista regresaron y vienen a casa en la Carpeta amarilla de miércoles, el 8/12.

* La Oficina del Distrito Escolar tiene una colecta de calcetines hasta el 13 diciembre. Si le gustaría participar, favor de referir a la hoja adjunta.
