Important dates for 8th grade parents to know as their 8th grade student's year winds down. Check often as dates may be added or changed.
January 23 - Request for Siblings in Same School form will be available at the NHS front office.
February 6 - Final day to turn in Request for Siblings in Same School form to the NHS front office no later than 4 pm.
February 7 - 8th grade Academic Presentation @ Mountain View Middle School 1-2pm
Presentation open to all 8th Grade parents no matter which middle school your 8th grader attends.
February 7 - 8th grade Academic Presentation @ NHS auditorium 6:30–8:30pm

Late February - Forecasting for 9th Grade at Middle schools

April - If you haven’t already paid for the 8th Grade Celebration T-shirt, payment will be due. All 8th graders are required to wear this T-shirt during the 8th Grade Celebration in June.
June 12 - 8th Grade Trip
June 13 - 8th Grade Celebration @ Mountain View Middle School Gym 8:15 am to approximately 10 am.
Parents and Grandparents are encouraged to attend this event. Please have your 8th Grader report to school like any other school day. Parents are welcome to take home their student after the Celebration.

August 12-15 - Fall Sports Registration (Fall Sports: Cross Country, Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Water Polo) @ NHS
August 15 - Fall Sports Parent Meeting @ NHS at 7 pm
August 19 - First Day of Practice @ NHS
Late August - Freshman Orientation @ NHS
September - by the 1st Day of School - ASB Sticker/Yearbook
First week of School - Pictures for ID and optional photo packages.
