April 8
Forecasting for 9th Grade at Middle Schools
NHS Staff will be visiting during the school day to hand out and explain forecasting forms for next year
April 21
The last day to register online for 9th grade classes.
On April 8, NHS visited with 8th graders during Science class. A forecast form was distributed which students need to complete and turn into the MV Counseling Office. Before turning in the form, please make sure your 8th grader registers online before April 21. Students can complete the online registration on any computer where they can access StudentVue. If your student needs help or computer access, the Mtn. View Library Computer Lab will be available during 7th periods from April 11 through April 21.

All 8th Graders participating in the 8th Grade Celebration will be wearing their royal blue keepsake Celebration t-shirts which they receive during 1st period on June 17. During the first part of April, students who have paid for the t-shirt will be called to the Office for sizing. If your student hasn’t been called to the Office, please pay $10 for the t-shirt by April 29. This can be done in the Office or purchasing it online at Mtn. View’s WebStore. For your student to participate in the 8th Grade End of Year Trip and/or receive their purchased Yearbook, fines for lost textbooks, lost library books, instrument rental, Science Discovery or Art fees, Cafeteria fees will need to be paid.

8:15 – approximately 9:15/9:45 am – Mtn. View’s 8th Grade Celebration
Presidential Awards are given during the 8th Grade Celebration. Criteria for these awards can be found here
*Because 8th Graders will be receiving their 8th Grade Celebration t-shirt on June 17, please have your 8th Grader report to school like any other school day.
*You are welcome to take your student home after the Celebration.
*Seating is available for parents and grandparents who would like to attend this event.
*Parking can be tight. There is limited parking in Mtn. View’s Parking Lot as well as street parking. If you do park on the street, please respect our neighbors by not blocking their driveways. Parking is available in the NHS Tennis Court Parking Lot.
