Two teams from Mountain View competed in the regional qualifying tournament for Lego Robotics. The "Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies" -- Peyton Delp, Emma Paulsen, Liam Gorman, Grant Stilp, and Jace Davis -- had a strong project presentation, but didn't score quite high enough overall to advance to the state tournament. The "Average Joes" -- Quentin Comus, Abby Bull, Jake Simpson, Lily Green, Drake Garver, and Dawson Walls -- won the "Robot Design" Award and had the highest overall score in the robot game. Their performance earned them a trip to the state tournament in January! Congratulations. "Average Joes!"
