The end of the school year is racing toward us! Here are a few dates to be aware of:
June
3 - Between now and June 1, please check with your student to see if they owe any fines…lost textbooks, lost library book, instrument rental, Science Discovery or Home Arts fee. Fines will need to be paid by June 3 for 8th Graders to participate in the 8th Grade End of Year Trip and/or receive their purchased Yearbooks.
14 – 8th Grade End of Year Trip during the school day
14 – Yearbook distribution for the whole school
15 – Last day of school is a ½ day and not a late start day
15 - 8th Grade Celebration - 8:15 am to approximately 10:15 am in MVMS Gym
8th Graders attend class as if it is a normal school day and will change into their royal blue keepsake 8th Grade Celebration T-shirts just prior to the event. We look forward to seeing parents at the Celebration and encourage them to take their 8th grader with them at the Celebration's conclusion. By May 9, students are asked to bring $10 to the Office for the purchase of the T-shirt.
