End of the Year dates and information:
Please check with your student to see if they owe any fines…lost textbooks, lost library book, instrument rental, Science Discovery or Home Arts fee. Purchased Yearbooks are distributed on June 11 to students who do not owe fines.
The last day of school is Thursday, June 12. 6th & 7th Graders will be released after lunch at 11:10 am. If your student rides a bus, busses will run normal routes just a bit earlier.
The 8th Grade Celebration for Mtn. View will be on Thursday, June 12, beginning at 8:15 am and ending an hour to two later. This will be a normal day for students as they should report to 1st period by 7:45. During 1st period, they will receive and change into their 8th Grade Celebration t-shirts before heading to the Gym for the event. At the conclusion of the event, you are welcome to take your 8th grader home with you. Seating is available for parents and grandparents who would like to attend this event.
Parking can be tight. There is limited parking in Mtn. View’s Parking Lot as well as street parking. If you do park on the street, please respect our neighbors by not blocking their driveways. Parking is available in the NHS Tennis Court Parking Lot.
If you have medication for your student at Mtn View, please pick it up by 3:30 pm on June 18. Medication left after June 18 will be destroyed.
