Welcome to the 2013/14 School Year!
We’re excited to see you on Tuesday, September 3!
If you have a student in Advanced Strings, the first two days of school they will remain at Mountain View and report to the Library. The Strings class will begin on Thursday with instruments. You have two transportation options. The first is riding Bus 18 which arrives at Mtn. View at 7:30 am and departs at 7:33 sharp. The second option is your own transportation, in which you will need to be at Chehalem Valley no later than 7:40. Students will be bused back to Mountain View in time for 2nd period.
Late start Wednesday begins September 4. On Wednesdays, students need to be in their seats by 8:45. School still ends at 2:20. We have a study hall available at 7:15 am for those students who must be dropped off prior to 8:15.
Picture Day is September 4 with picture packets coming home on September 3. All students have their pictures taken for Student ID and Yearbook purposes.
Will your middle schooler be picking up a sibling at Mabel Rush? As you know, Mabel Rush Elementary students are dismissed at 3:10. To make sure Mabel Rush classes are not interrupted, Mtn. View students must wait in the Mtn. View Library or off Mtn. View and Mabel Rush grounds until 3:10.
Students who catch a bus at the high school or meet a high school sibling, gather in the Gym after school until dismissal at 2:33. They are then escorted to the high school.
7th and 8th Grade girls who are playing CPRD Volleyball there is a parent/player meeting September 4 at 5 pm in the Gym.
