All the staff of Mountain View Middle School misses seeing our students and interacting with our families. We are thinking about you daily and hoping all of you are well. During times like these, it is important to remember we are a community that looks out for one another even if that means checking in by email or creating a virtual connection. Please understand your health and safety during this pandemic is our number one priority. Therefore, it is important to heed the advice of our governor: stay at home as much as possible, practice social distancing (stay at least 6 feet apart from others), and wash your hands on a continual basis throughout the day.

After spring break, teachers and administrators will be developing supplemental materials as a connection between students and teachers. More information will be communicated with you after spring break.
Students are NOT expected to be doing school work during this time. Give one another some grace and understanding in an era of uncertainty. Instead take this time to read with each other, practice math facts, play board games, go out for a walk, and hug the members of your family. Your most precious gifts are the people that share your household, whoever they may be. If we keep our focus on that aspect and reach out to those around us with kindness, patience, and compassion, we will become a stronger community as we work through this difficult time.
I will continue to be in touch at least weekly during the time we are away from school. Please enjoy your spring break, get out in the sun, and stay healthy.
