Conferences, Book Fair and No School
We hope to see you at Mtn. View's Spring Conferences! Our Conferences will be held:
Monday, April 6, from noon-3:30 pm in Teacher Classrooms
Monday, April 6, from 4-8 pm Arena Style in the MV Gym
Tuesday, April 7, from 7:30-11:00 am in Teacher Classrooms

The Mtn. View BOGO Book Fair hours are the same as Conferences! Stop by!
Due to Conferences, Grading and Teacher Prep, there is no school on Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7.
Survey
Newberg schools are inviting parents to register their opinions in the district's annual Parent Engagement and Satisfaction Survey. The 77-question survey addresses academics, communication, discipline, school climate, outreach and engagement and homework. Last year survey responses helped each school identify strengths, challenges and make plans to improve areas needing attention.
The 2015 survey opened April 1 and takes approximately 10-12 minutes to complete. Responses are strictly confidential. The National Center for School Leadership administers the survey.
Participation in this survey is an important way schools leaders can listen to parent opinions, Parents are encouraged to use the link below to complete the survey by April 15.

Wanted/Reminders
It seems like everyone who goes to the airport these days takes a picture of their feet on the iconic Portland Airport carpet. The Yearbook would like your help by sending any of your PDX carpet pictures to mvmswcp@gmail.com. Be sure to include your name and please send them by Monday, April 6. Thank you!
Does your student have a Library book they checked out prior to Spring Break…it may be overdue. Please have your student check the due dates of their books and have the books renewed or return them in the Library.
Friday was the last day to earn a Round 5 sticker. We’ll ask students to drop off their IDs on April 13 for updates.
Congratulations
Congrats to the Jazz Band for their outstanding performance Thursday night at the Patton Middle School Jazz Festival in McMinnville. They represented their school and community extremely well!
Congratulations to the following students for the most jumps, shots, laps and money collected during the Jump Shoot Run!
*Mikenzie Paskewich, Emma Aparicio and Isabel Holtan for the most jumps.
*Brian Lanier, Hayden Pyritz and Mitchell Allison had the most shots.
*Henry Copeland, Andru Tran and Bailey Sherwood had the most laps
*Allie Valls and Jackson Tabscott for collecting the most money for their grade.
*Not only did Jack Causey collect the most money for his grade but the most money overall.
Student Store Student Help
Do you have a student who is interested in volunteering in the MV Student Store? Have them complete an application and return it to the Office. Applications are located in the Office or online
