Week’s Events
Students who received Val-O-Grams picked them up during their lunch time on Friday.
Battle of the Books semi-finals took place on Wednesday with the Bookians and Smarty Pants moving onto the February 18th finals. The winner of the February 18th challenge will take a trip to the Regional Championships!
Reminders
Mtn. View’s Box Top contest ends on Friday, February 20. Prizes will be given to the top three students (and their parent) who bring in the most Box Tops. Winners will be announced shortly after February 20.
Our first Soccer Wednesday occurred this week. The field was a bit soggy, but fun was had by those who participated. Quick note…Soccer Wednesdays will be during 2nd and 3rd lunches only. Don’t despair, lunches rotate in less than a month, so current 1st lunch students will get their chance!
We know students loose ID’s, purchase new ones and then find the lost one. We reminded students this week that at any given time, they should only have one ID in their possession. If they do have more than one, we asked them drop the extra ID in the Office. The extra ID’s are held in reserve for students to pick up if they lose their current ID. We also understand that ID’s get washed with clothes and stickers wash off. If this happens, students can drop the ID in the Office to receive new stickers Replacement ID’s can be purchased for $3. Students pay for these in the Office and drop them in a basket to have their stickers updated.
This year earning two stickers or a super star sticker between January 27 and April 3 earns students the Laser Tag trip as well as all the other rewards associated with these stickers. For more information about Mtn. View’s Super Star Rewards click here.
