There is no school next week, November 24-28.  The Mtn. View Staff wishes you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Events for this Week
On November 19, a large white Limo arrived to take eleven of our students and two chaperones to Jem100 for lunch and a drive around town.  The eleven students earned this trip from the MVPG Fall Fundraiser.

Wednesday, students interested in the MV Builder’s Club showed up early for the meeting.

Friday, was Civil War Spirit Day with many students supporting Oregon State by wearing orange and black or green and yellow to support the University of Oregon.  Towards the end of the week, we reminded students that dress code rules apply during Spirit Days which includes all shorts coming down on their leg at least 4 inches and they cannot write on themselves with marker.  Hats were acceptable as long they represented Oregon State or the University of Oregon.

Friday also ended the time period for students to earn Sticker #3. On December 2, they will drop their ID’s in the Office to have it updated.

The Movie Incentive Trip will be taking place in mid-December for students who earned it by not having any late work between October 20 and December 5.  Watch for permission slips in mid-December.
