Welcome 5th Graders and Parents! We are excited to see you for the 2016/17 school year. But first, we'd like to make you aware of a few important dates.
Late Spring 5th graders tour MVMS - MVMS counselors and principals take the students on a tour of Mtn. View during the school day.
August 30 6th Grade BBQ from 5-8 pm. This is a “don’t miss” event that has replaced our Back to School Night. At this event, you can take care of things before school starts such as: pay fees, pay and receive PE Uniform, deposit lunch money, receive your student’s schedule and locker assignment, deposit school supplies in their locker, find out what bus they will ride from Bus Barn representatives (if they ride a bus) and learn about middle school sports which is run through CPRD. Watch your mailbox in mid to late August for more information and your “ticket” into this event.
September 6 First day of school
September 7 Picture Day – picture packets will be sent home the first day of school.
We encourage you to visit the MVMS website on a regular basis as the above information and more will be kept up-to-date.
One difference you will notice from elementary school is that we infrequently send home paper information. Digital communication is Mtn. View’s number one form of communication. Be sure to hook up with one or more…
