At Catalyst, we offer students classes via whole- and small-group instruction, one-on-one support, and blended learning. For academically-disciplined, highly-motivated students, independent study courses may be available that are either teacher-designed or accessed through an online learning platform. Additionally, our service learning and internship programs are designed to meet graduation requirements in a variety of subject areas.
Catalyst uses The Discovery Program, created by Eric Larsen, to lay the groundwork for student success. Students will participate in Discovery during their first 6-weeks of enrollment. Upon successful completion of The Discovery Program, students will be enrolled in a regular, 5-period schedule. For more information about The Discovery Program, please visit the link below.
Graduates of Catalyst complete the credit requirements set forth by the School Board and earn a Newberg High School diploma, and Oregon diploma, or a Modified diploma.
