Student pick-up and drop-off
To avoid school bus traffic in the north parking lot before and after school, parents are asked to pick-up and/or drop-off their students in the south parking lot.
Buses
The Newberg School District provides roundtrip home to school bus transportation for students who live more than one mile from the school. Route information, including pick-up times, is from Student Transportation of America or on the school district website . The listed times are offered as guidelines for the convenience of families and should not be interpreted as absolute. Students should arrive at the bus stop a few minutes early to be certain of catching their buses.
Students must follow the rules governing behavior on school buses or forfeit the right to ride. Students should understand that the bus driver is responsible for the safety of the students. When present on school buses, the teacher is responsible to maintain order and enforce the regulations printed in the District Code of Conduct for Secondary Students. All buses used in the school district are equipped with video camera to monitor student and driver behavior.

Bikes
Bike racks are located outside the entrance to the high school for students to lock their bikes to. Students will need to provide their own bike locks.
Student parking, cars, motorcycles
On campus student-parking passes are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis to juniors and seniors as part of the registration process. Vehicles not properly displaying a valid parking pass may be towed. Students who do not park in designated student parking spaces may have their cars towed.
The school is not responsible for property damage or theft in the parking lot. Cars should be locked and leaving personal property within the car should be avoided. In case of theft or damage, call the Newberg-Dundee Police Department at 503-538-8321.
Local and state traffic laws and school vehicle regulations must be obeyed. Violators will be cited by local law enforcement and may forfeit their on-campus privilege. The speed limit in the NHS parking lot in 10 m.p.h.
No student cars will be permitted to leave the school grounds during the hours in which school is in session, including lunch time, without permission of a building administrator.
