Ag Sales team advances to state

The Newberg FFA advanced agricultural sales team moves on to state level competition on December 10th in Dayton after a second place finish in district competition November 16th.

Agricultural Sales Career Development Event (CDE) is a competitive activity that allows students to apply classroom knowledge to real-life situations. The event includes actual sales presentations, a team sales situation, an individual practical situation focusing on customer relations, customer service, or prospecting for customers.

The Newberg advanced team includes Beau Svendsen (3rd place individual), Aaron Morland (5th place individual) and Ben Fleming (6th place individual.) Neil Gravatt, Tia Piscitelli, Tyler Gooding, Rebecca Green and Vasiliy Bariyeru also participated in the advanced sales contest. Newberg’s beginning agricultural sales team landed in first place. Team members are Sulamita Barbiyerv (1st place individual), Maddie Kuhn (5th place individual) and Spenser Coleman (8th place individual.) Brayden Camarana also participated in beginning sales events.
