Catalyst graduation June 4

Twenty-three students in the Catalyst Alternative School will graduate in ceremonies at the Newberg High School auditorium on Thursday, June 4th at 7p.m.  Guest speaker Cindy Stolp, a social worker from Henderson House Women's Shelter, will address the class. Hannah Staggers will deliver the graduation address and teacher Sandy Otis will announce special awards, including the Rotary Scholarship presented by Assistant Superintendent Dave Parker.  Greg Aldred, Cream Corn and the student 'band' will provide special music.

Superintendent Kym LeBlanc-Esparza will present the class to the Newberg School Board. Teacher Ben Stern will read the names of the graduates as Catalyst Principal Bill Rogers presents the diplomas. Each student will be highlighted individually with a slide show and a word from staff about their work and character at school.
