Cheer, Dance, Swim and Wrestling Teams in Championships

Newberg Oregon School District

Winter co-curricular activities begin to wrap-up with district and state competitions.  Congrats to all students and staff members who have been working hard since November, and good luck to all who are still competing!

Newberg High School Cheerleaders are getting ready to defend their national title in Anaheim, California. The team made an early morning appearance with personality Drew Carney on KGW-TV Monday morning.

Tiger Riot Dance took 3rd place in their division and 5th place overall with a score of 73.00 this past weekend at the Sherwood High School competition.  Also, Tori Guarnaccia won Novice Drill.  Sounds like the dancers are in a good place heading into their state competition in the coming weeks.  Congrats and good luck, ladies!
