Explore careers, prep for college in PCC classes

Portland Community College’s Newberg Center is offering an exciting College and Career Exploration Program this summer. The program will focus on three areas:

• College preparatory classes in Reading, Writing and Math
• Job Skill and General Career Planning
• In depth Career Exploration in 5 specific fields: Engineering, Education, Gerontology, Health and Green Careers

Registration begins May 17 for credit and non-credit courses. Some classes are available as classroom offerings, some are presented in a distance learning format and others combine the two modalities and are offered as hybrid classes. The classroom offerings will be held at the Chehalem Cultural Center in downtown Newberg.
