February 2012 Athletes of the Month

Junior Cassie Beecher and Senior Peter Russo

Cassie qualified for three different relays, as well as the 50yd Freestyle event at the upcoming OSAA State Championships. A National Honor Society student and Water Polo standout, Cassie is a true model of what it means to be a student-athlete. In all things, she is a class act!

Peter just won his 4th District/Regional Championship. He will be attending his 4th OSAA State Championship tournament and chasing his 2nd consecutive state title. Peter is a member of the National Honor Society and will be attending Stanford University in the fall. Peter volunteers with the youth wrestling program twice a week and works two different youth camps during the summer.
