FFA Cleans Up (again) at State

Once again our Newberg FFA Chapter represented Newberg Nation quite well at the Oregon FFA State Convention held during Spring Break in Silverton. Results from the state championships include the following:

Beginning Public Speaking

• 1st place (State Champion) - John McCarthy
• 2nd place - Abby Bull

Sophomore Public Speaking

• 2nd place - Peter Gentile

Advanced Public Speaking

• Top 8 - Johanna DeJoria

Creed Speaking:

• Top 8 - Davis Smith

Extemporaneous Speaking:

• 1st place (State Champion) - Margaret Halstead
